Summary

The Shipment Specialist has as a primary responsibility the shipment operations, packaging inventory management (receipt, stocking, replenishment etc.), shipping/receiving including Lu177 Chloride receipt and final product packaging.
Moreover, waste management (radioactive waste and special waste) relating to the packaging area.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Coordination of shipping (also during night shift), receiving, storage and processing of goods.
  • Inspect and verify material, labels and documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintains the rooms dedicated to the packaging in a tidy state applying good housekeeping principles.
  • Ability to operate all applicable radiation detection equipment.
  • Actively participate and support all site and team projects and initiatives relating to the packaging area.
  • Execute all assigned activities in compliance with internal procedures (HSE, GMP, others) and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support the ordering and maintaining inventory of packaging area in conjunction with external supplier, supply chain and other function responsible.
  • Promptly report to the Production Manager, Production Head, Radioprotection Expert and/or the HSE Manager any deviation inherent to the assigned activities.
  • Acts as back up of other production roles in case of need.
  • Supports and interacts with the production supervisor in the execution and/or supervision of the entire batch process including batch record review, aseptic set up, preparation, production and final equipment decontamination.

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum of high school diploma.
  • Previous experience in a shipment role preferred.
  • Willing to work in shifts, including night shifts and weekends.
  • Fluent in Italian. Good knowledge of English.
